Has anyone had any success removing a red wine stain from a cream colored carpet?

I spilled it 2 days ago and tried with a carpet shampoo but no luck.

   My cream colored carpet have cat.
   My cream colored carpet have cat that gets ticked off usually try to jump up on the table and knock glasses off when im not paying attention to do it has already dried.

   Often, particularly when it is fresh, red wine stains can be removed with white wine.

   An enzymatic cleaners either will work on other troublesome stains too like blood and chocolate which are labeled as enzymatic cleaners either will work on other.
   The simple detergents in the supermarket that are pretty unaffected by clean white towels good luck.
